Description
The four gatis are the heavenly, human, animal and hellish states a soul can be born into, and the game shows how each thought, desire and action pushes the soul from one to the next. Children see, turn after turn, that only the human birth opens the road to Moksha.
Good for: children aged 4 and up who can follow a board game, and older siblings who enjoy explaining the rules. The game is language neutral, so grandparents can play along in whichever language they think in.
How families use it: bring it out on Sunday afternoons or during Paryushan when screens are put away, and pause whenever a soul falls to a lower gati to talk about what caused it. Pathshala teachers use it to introduce gati and karma before the textbook chapter. For travel there is a compact Nigod To Nirvan (Small Edition).
