Description
Objective
- The goal of Moksh Mission is for each team to correctly identify all the hidden 8 Gun Cards of a Siddha Bhagwan, without accidentally selecting the other team’s spots or the neutral Samta cards. The first team to reveal all their Gun Cards wins.
Roles
- Each team selects one player to be the Samyaktvi. The Samyaktvi provides clues to help their teammates identify the locations of their team’s Gun Cards.
- The remaining players work together to guess which cards on the board are their team’s Gun Cards based on the clues given by their Samyaktvi.
Setup
- Divide the players into two teams, assigning one team to the color red and the other to the color green.
- Shuffle the deck of 250+ name cards and place 25 cards randomly in a 5×5 grid on the table.
- The two Samyaktvis will select a Clue Card that shows the hidden locations of each team’s Gun Cards and Samta cards, as well as the spots that belong to the other team. The Clue Card should be kept hidden from all other players, but both Samyaktvis must be able to see it.
Starting the Game
- The Clue Card has color-coded circles on its edge indicating which team starts. If the circles are green, the green team goes first; if red, the red team goes first.
- To balance the game, the team that starts will receive 9 Cards (8 Gun cards + Kevalgyan Card), while the other team will have 8.
Gameplay
- The Samyaktvi gives their team a two-word clue followed by a number. The word relates to the meaning of the hidden Gun Cards, and the number indicates how many cards on the grid are linked to that clue. For example, if the Samyaktvi says, “Jain Festival, 1,” it means that one of the card on the grid are connected is a Jain Festival.
- The team then discusses and tries to guess which cards relate to the clue. If they guess a card that belongs to their team, it is marked with a Gun Card.
- If they guess a card that belongs to the other team the other teams Gun card is placed on the guessed word. The turn is passed to the other team.
- If they guess a Samta card, the Samta card is placed on the guessed word. Their turn ends and the turn is passed to the other team.
- Play continues with each team taking turns guessing based on their Samyaktvi’s clues.
- A team can continue guessing untill they make a wrong guess.
- If any team guesses the Mohaniya spot – marked black on the clue card. The game immediately ends & the other team wins.
Winning the Game
- The first team to correctly identify all 8 of their Gun Cards wins the game.
- If a team is taking too long, any player can flip the timer & ask the slow team to make a decision before the time runs out.
Tips
- The Samyaktvi’s must maintain a straight face and avoid giving any extra clues or hints with their body language and facial expressions.
Two player game
- If two players want to play Moksh Mission, it can be adapted into a cooperative mode. One player becomes the Samyaktvi, providing clues, while the other player tries to guess all 8 Gun Cards.
- The objective remains to find all 8 Gun Cards without selecting Samta cards or the other team’s spots.
- To simulate the opposing team, the Samyaktvi covers one of the enemy team’s words after each turn.
- If your team guesses the Mohaniya word, they lose the game.
- If you win, you can score points based on how many Gun Cards are still left for the opposing team.
Three player game
- Three players who want to be on same team can play as described above. If two players want to compete against each other, they can be samyaktvis and the third can be their guessing player.
Mission of the game is Moksh.
We are Samyaktvis, so now strongly, we have to give fight to our 8 karmas and on the counter have to gain 8 gun
to finally accomplish our mission i.e. “Moksh”
