Description
The board is a path of numbered squares, each showing a habit a child will recognise from their own day: green squares add points for a good habit and red squares take them away for a bad one. Each player has fifteen turns to travel the path, and the player with the most points at the end is the one who stayed closest to dharma. Because the habits are ordinary ones, the game starts conversations at home that a lecture never would.
Good for: children aged 4 and up, playing with a parent or with two or three friends.
How families use it: play it on a weekend evening and let the child explain why a square is red or green, or use it at pathshala for the youngest group as a lesson on sanskar. A sangh often gives it as a prize at a children’s programme. More games of the same kind are under Jain Board Games.
