Description
The Ashtamangal, the eight auspicious symbols of Jainism, are the first things placed before a Tirthankara idol. Hung above the ghodiya, the cards sit exactly where a newborn’s eyes rest for most of the day, so the swastik, shrivatsa, kalash and the rest become familiar shapes months before they have names.
Good for: newborns and infants in the first year. Text is in English and Hindi, so both sides of the family can point and name.
How families use it: hang the cards over the ghodiya or palana when the baby comes home, move them to the cot as the baby grows, and later use the same cards to teach the names. They are a favourite gift at a baby shower or naming ceremony. When the child is old enough to colour, Ashtamangal (Coloring Book) continues the theme.

I suggest everyone to take this for their kids and even there are much more such things which helps kids to know about jainism from childhood onwards. It is very affordable and good quality.

Brought this for hanging on the ghodiya. Used it as flashcards when kid grew up. My daughter is now 2.6 years & she can easily identify all ashtamangal & 24 Tirthankar names. Your flashcards are just awesome. Its very useful to teach our kids very well. Your creativity is really appreciable.
