Description
Each day the child picks one small vow, such as not eating after sunset or speaking gently, and marks it on the card once it is kept. Over a few weeks the vow stops being a rule and becomes a habit, and the child starts choosing the next one without being asked.
Good for: children aged 2 and up, with a parent or grandparent guiding the first few days. The card is in English, and the virtues are short enough for pre-readers to follow from the pictures and a parent’s voice.
How families use it: keep it on the fridge or the study table, tick the day’s virtue after dinner, and talk about how it went. Pathshala teachers hand one to each child at the start of Paryushan or Navpad Oli, and it is a popular prabhavna item for the same reason.
