Sanskar

Sanskar books teach a child the everyday manners and values of a Jain home, one theme per book: how to greet elders, how to behave at the derasar, what to say and not say, and the small daily habits that grow into character. With a picture on every page, the five titles are short enough for a parent to read at bedtime and clear enough for a child to act on the next morning.

Families read one book a week, pathshalas use them for the sanskar period, and a set is a standard gift at a child’s first birthday or a mundan.
