Other Toys

Other toys that carry no Jain theme but earn their place in a Jain home: a wooden easel board for children with a chalkboard on one side and a magnetic whiteboard on the other, with chalk, markers, a duster and a set of magnetic letters. It is the board on which the Navkar is written out letter by letter, the pachkhan for the day is noted, and a drawing of the derasar is rubbed out and drawn again.

For ages three and up, at home or in a pathshala corner, and a big-box birthday gift that gets used every day.
