Jain Stavan Stuti Sajjay

Stavan, stuti and sajjay are the three kinds of devotional verse sung in a Jain derasar and at home: stavans of praise to the Tirthankar, short stutis recited within the chaityavandan and pratikraman, and sajjays that teach a lesson through a story or a reflection. The books here collect them for daily use, from beginner sets that pair the verses with simple explanations to classic pads and pachisis for those who already sing.

Families keep one in the puja room, pathshalas teach one stuti a week from them, and they are a favourite prabhavna item after a bhakti evening.
