Iriyavahiyam Sutra
Iriyavahiyam Sutra is the sutra of asking forgiveness for harm done to living beings while walking, and the first sutra many children learn by heart. The pieces here teach it word by word: flashcards with a picture for each word and the meaning on the back, and a board game where the roll of the dice sets how many words to learn and recite before moving on. Both tell the story of Aimutta Muni, who reached kevalgyan while reciting it.
Start around age three, play at home or in pathshala, and give a set at a birthday or as prabhavna at a children’s programme.
