Description

HOW TO PLAY:

SET UP

  1. Shuffle cards together and deal 5 to each player, face down.
  2. Look at your cards, but keep them a secret!
  3. Put the remaining cards face down in the center to create the draw pile.
  4. Decide who goes first. Play continues clockwise.

ON YOUR TURN

  1. TAKE 2 CARDS

from the draw pile and add them to your hand. Later in the game if you have no cards left, pick up 5 instead.

  1. YOU CAN PLAY UP TO 3 CARDS

from your hand, onto the table in front of you. You don’t have to play any cards if you don’t want to (but you can’t have more than 7 cards in the hand at the end of your turn). Play your 3 cards in any combination of the following:

  1. PUT MONEY/LUCKY CARDS INTO YOUR OWN BANK

Create your bank by putting money/lucky cards as players need to pay money for Janma Kalyanak, Charity, etc. If you put a lucky card in your bank, it becomes a money card for the rest of the game. If it is used to pay another player, it must go straight into their banks.

  1. PUT DOWN TIRTHS/TRUSTS INTO YOUR OWN COLLECTION

Lay tirth/trust cards down in front of you to build up full sets. Each card shows how many tirths/trusts are to be collected in that colour set. You can only reorganize your tirth collection on your turn. Get 4 different coloured tirth/trust + 4000 gold coins sets to win the game!

  1. PUT LUCKY CARDS INTO THE CENTER

Lucky cards can be used to ask charity for Jirnoddhar Fund, Tirth Yatra or ask for tirths/trusts, full sets from other players. Lucky cards can also be put in your bank. Their value is shown on the top left corner.

  1. END YOUR TURN

If you have more than 7 cards in the hand at the end of your turn (not including cards on the table) discard extras to the bottom of the draw pile so you only have 7. If you have no cards left, take 5 at the start of your next turn.

HOW TO PAY OTHERS

  1. Cards can never go back into a player’s hand.
  2. Never pay with cards from your hand, only from the cards in front of you.
  3. You can pay with cards from your bank, tirths/trusts or a combination of both.
  4. Change is not given. For example, if a player charges you 400 gold coins and you have 500 gold coins card in your bank, you don’t get any change.
  5. If you pay with tirth/trust cards, they must go into the other player’s tirth/trust collection and not in the bank.
  6. If you have no cards in front of you to pay with, you don’t pay at all!

WINNER

To win, be the first player to collect 4 full tirth /trust + 4000 gold coins sets of different colours.
